Why choose a Matchmaker over online dating.

So here we are, just about to turn the corner into February. As the novelty of starting a fresh new year starts to wear off and new years resolutions fade to the wayside, we tend to get complacent and go back to doing things in a manner in which we are familiar. This includes dating.

Online dating has become mainstream and a way in which family and friends can have input. But here is what I hear most from clients as they navigate through the online algorithms.

  • The person I met looks nothing like the person on their profile picture.

  • I keep getting matched with the same people.

  • We had nothing in common.

  • They did not want a relationship, just a booty call.

  • I don’t have time to spend hours online looking through profiles.

These are just a few of the comments I hear.

So what is it I actually do? In a nutshell, I do the work for you.

What does that look like? Well, here you go….

I get to know you. I create your profile so you don’t have to. Your profile picture is confidential and no one sees it but the Matchmakers. I/We set up the introductions for you and get feedback after each one. This helps move forward with each client in a process of discovery and awareness. Recognizing that what it takes to attract the relationship we picture ourselves with, and the connection we want may, not fit into that picture. There are many factors to take into consideration when looking for a relationship and an outside perspective is always helpful.

Is Matchmaking for you? When you ask yourself this, ask if you are ready to be truly honest with who you are. Don’t judge yourself too harshly and be ready to take advantage of new experiences. Remember, it really is about the journey and having some help navigating through the twists and turns is always beneficial.

I hope this gives you some insight into Matchmaking. While there is so much more this should give you a few things to ponder in your quest.

Have a wonderful day!

-Christie
